You help ensure every project stays on point, starting with our customers, and extending throughout all phases of product conception and development. All while helping agency owners grow their business more quickly and predictably with Flywheel!
The day to day:

  • Work hand-in-hand with our engineering and product design teams to create, schedule, and deliver in a Scrum and Agile environment.
  • Exhibit strong empathy and be the voice of the customer.
  • Lead high-value projects from start to finish.
  • Draft product requirements, draw up wireframes, and turn them into a reality.
  • Show extreme attention to detail and can identify those little touches that have a big impact on product design.
  • Help own the evolution of the craft of Product Management as a Senior team member.
  • Be passionate about the value of design and user experience.
  • Be a flexible teammate who's always ready to help and support others.
  • Approach work in a collaborative, no-ego way.


Your expertise:

  • Improving established processes while educating your team along the way.
  • Being able to juggle production work with growing and mentoring Product Managers.
  • Coordinating cross-team efforts to ship interdependent and complementary work with positive outcomes.
  • Leading your teams in the process of prioritizing and scoping products.
  • Prioritizing the work of the Product Team, refining the backlog, and juggling new requests.
  • Communicating with high-value customers, users, and partners to identify and prioritize the features and functionality that should be included in the product.
  • Being the point person for the team between Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Leadership.
  • Working with Engineers and Product Managers to drive strategy, vision, and execution.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in a field with a strong emphasis on technology.
  • 5+ years of proven success in the technology industry in engineering and Product Management teams.
  • Proven track record of shipping web products that delight customers.
  • Demonstrated partnership with Product Designer and Research to understand and solve customer problems.
  • Focus on understanding the market and customer problems (the "why") before working on possible solutions (the "what").
  • Makes stakeholder management across roles, levels, and personalities appear effortless.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Thrives with a high degree of autonomy but knows when to loop in the team and/or leadership.
  • Able to use data to help prioritize problems/opportunities and tell a story (SQL, Looker, Tableau, etc).
  • Uses storytelling to inspire diverse internal partners and customers.
  • Experience working as a freelancer or at a creative agency - or serving them in a previous product role.
