Position Overview

Daily Harvest is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to join our Digital Product team. The Digital Product team develops platform capabilities and experiences that delight our customers and fuel our growth. We work in cross-functional "squads" to bring our mission, brand, and values to life online.

As a Daily Harvest Sr. Product Manager leading our e-Commerce Platform squad, you will work closely with our Director of Product, Engineering leaders, and Data and Accounting teams to define and build the future of our e-commerce platform and infrastructure. You will sit at the intersection of product strategy, technical architecture, and engineering in a unique position for a technically adept and collaborative thinker. You will form a deep understanding of our software development processes, our technology infrastructure, and our custom e-commerce platform in order to meet current customer demands and envision our future. 

Daily Harvest is on a mission to ensure that our customers have easy access to the type of nourishing food they need and want to be eating, but don’t have time to prepare. You’ll help us bring our vision of a personalized, self-replenishing freezer to life at scale. 

What you'll do:

• Be the Product Leader for a squad of Engineers tasked with developing best-in-class technology infrastructure and backend services
• Establish product strategy, create product roadmaps, author product requirements, and set goals for your squad to measure progress along the way
• Deeply understand the needs of your customers and stakeholders (end users, third-party partners, and teams within Daily Harvest building on our platform), and guide your squad to ship solutions that satisfy those needs while driving towards our long-term vision
• Bring this customer-centric perspective to conversations about technical implementations and trade-offs, infrastructure, decisions about architecture, build vs. buy explorations and re-factoring/re-platforming strategies 
• Communicate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise way  
• Effectively manage projects, creating transparency across the organization, and keeping teams aligned on and excited about our vision

Who you are:

• A Sr. Product Manager with 5+ years of total experience managing e-commerce or technical products
• Detail and process-oriented, while maintaining the ability to see the big picture and challenge the status quo
• You have a track record of delivering high-quality core services 
• Possess internal and external team leadership skills and are able to maintain strong relationships and exercise influence with your squad, stakeholders, and leadership
• Convey a can-do, positive attitude towards tackling problems and are able to see other points of view, while maintaining a confident direction for the team
• Passionate about the future of e-commerce
