The Audience Data team is seeking an intellectually curious product manager to lead one of our reporting products that serves a passionate set of users. These users leverage real-time and historical data to drive editorial content strategy, determine the outcome of online experiments, monitor user facing products, and discover patterns that increase user engagement and revenue.
As a data PM, you will serve as the conduit between our data consuming customers and our engineering team as you seek to maintain & develop a product that is 1) highly performant and intuitive for a broad range of analysts, product managers, and engineers; 2) trustworthy, accurate, and well governed; 3) best-in-class, offering distinct advantages over 3rd party solutions; and 4) indispensable for enabling the company to grow audience engagement and revenue.
What we look for:

  • Experience: Product management experience of 5+ years with data products, in particular with mission-critical systems operating at very large scale. Ability to create and drive quarterly product roadmaps that align with corporate strategic objectives.
  • Product sense: Strong connection with user base and ability to envision novel ways to leverage our unique data assets. Solid understanding of industry best practices and cutting edge data technologies.
  • Analytical ability: Excellent analytical skills in data extraction/preparation/cleaning, knowledge of statistical methods and their application to data products, demonstrated ability to perform research & insights studies
  • Leadership: Experience executing analytics projects while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive high-quality results. Ability to evaluate tradeoffs and prioritize the work that will drive the largest value--all while driving consensus and rallying support.
  • Communication skills: Strong written and oral communication skills in order to translate technical requirements to engineering teams. Polished communication style for engaging with our customers on a daily basis.


Your day to day:

  • Work with stakeholders across the company to develop prioritized product plans & goals
  • Draft technical requirements while maintaining communication with customers on timelines and progress
  • Lead sprint planing and work with engineering partners on daily execution
  • Ensure customers are getting the support they need while using our data products
  • Study and evaluate industry trends; ideate & prototype novels way to improve the value of our data
