How will you make an impact?
Located in Eugene, OR, the Senior Manager, Product Management is responsible for managing a team of product managers with responsibility for the cell imaging, protein bioconjugation, and detection consumables. You will be responsible for driving the global product line strategies, product life cycle management, leading VOC activities, defining market requirements and communicating use scenarios that lead to growth in new and existing segments of interest

What will you do?

  • Manage a team of product managers
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy, and identify opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation
  • Lead new product development including voice of customer research, defining critical customer and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding business and financial justification with ROI
  • Serve as product champion with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and directly with key accounts. An effective performer will maintain close interaction with field organization (e.g., sales and technical support) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, product value proposition, pricing tactics, and customer support.
  • Serve as the customer advocate interacting w/ functional partners including R&D, Program Management, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Services, Quality and Regulatory
  • Develop and deliver product training programs for internal and external customers (
  • Assess and evaluate market and competition to help develop and deploy key messages and communication strategies for the product line with Marketing Development team
  • Manage the life cycle of the existing product portfolio. Responsibilities include pricing /margin optimization, management across the customer value continuum
  • Forecast with operations/planning to ensure proper inventory management of product line



How will you get here?

  • 0-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline required. MBA and/or Masters or Ph.D. in a science related field preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-functional regional marketing, sales teams, and working directly with customers.
  • Knowledge of cellular imaging and/or bioconjugation markets and competitive landscape.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Products: PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Ability to work with teams across the global and cultural difference.
  • Self-starter with the ability to create and execute plans with minimal supervision.
  • Strong project management and planning skills required
  • Must be comfortable making independent decisions and embracing change.
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in matrix organizational structure.
  • Drive for results and ability to measure the progress of initiatives.
