This role will work in our Cloud Productivity Engineering group which is at the forefront of this mission, bringing all our learnings of building and maintaining well managed environments to the organization. Specifically this role will be responsible for leading Product work for our Stability and Engineering Operations area that includes all of our applications in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), monitoring and alerting, ServiceNow, asset management, as well as Technology Operations Center (inclusive of tech support and all escalations) space.
We are looking for a Product Leader who is imaginative, collaborative, and truly excited about building new, unique products and experiences. The ideal candidate is resourceful, creative, analytical, passionate about exploring new ideas, and has great attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking a customer-back and evidence based approach to defining, executing, and delivering a product roadmap
- Leading and growing a team of other Product Managers within our Cloud Productivity Engineering group
- Working with technical customers of a large platform at the center of the company
- Engaging internal customers directly through a variety of channels to identify new capabilities, define product features, and work closely with development teams to get those features incorporated
- Working in a cross-functional group - closely partnering with engineering, design, operations, finance and executive teams to bring a product to life
- Drive the maturity of product management practice within the organization, defining expectations and commitments
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Significant expertise in establishing and developing strong working relationships with all levels of associates and external parties, while maintaining appropriate levels of objectivity to their work
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a start-up like environment, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality products and applications that customers love
- Experience delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment
- Technical knowledge and depth necessary to propose and influence new product and feature ideas
- Analytical and quantitative skills; experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- History of teamwork and a willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of product management experience
- At least 7 years of experience in people management
- At least 4 years of experiences working with software engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- 10+ years of product management experience
- 8+ years of experience in Agile or Lean product management methodologies
- 8+ years of experience in people management
- 3+ years experience in human-centered design, design thinking, and service design
- 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native products
