In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas :

- You'll partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions that solve material customer and business problems
- You'll be responsible to make technology investments decision by assessing opportunities for reusing Enterprise solutions or for and building new ones with extensibility & enterprise scalability in mind
- Transformational Leadership
- You'll influence a broad set of senior executives across the enterprise and your organization who are stakeholders or delivery partner to successfully deliver on your portfolio/product vision
- You'll establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, to gain alignment, secure resources and overcome impediments
- You'll attract, grow, empower, and inspire top product talent as they develop and deliver on their local product strategy
As part of the Sr. Director of Product Management, Operations role, you will:
- Process Development: Collaborate with Product Leadership to develop and implement a robust set of processes for product management, including product discovery, goaling, roadmap planning, prioritization, budgeting, and review.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with executive leadership from across the Capital One to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, clear and transparent communication, and alignment of enterprise product priorities with business goals and objectives.
- Performance Measurement: Drive a culture of excellence in product management by establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success.
- Product Management Excellence: Develop best practices for the product management function and implement key initiatives to establish a world-class product management practice.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Build a high-performing Operations PM team through the hiring and onboarding of top-tier product managers.

- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 8 years of experience in digital product management
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA or Master's degree
- 8+ years of experience in Agile product management
- 8+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
- Consulting experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Location is New York City: $267,300 - $305,100 for Sr. Dir, Product Management
Location is San Francisco, California: $283,100 - $323,100 for Sr. Dir, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
