Job Description Summary:
The Senior Product Operations Analyst will work with product leaders to identify areas of improvement within the product development lifecycle. Improvements will enable product leaders to execute faster and with scale.

Job Description:

The Sr. Product Operations Analyst will be supporting the Financial Services business unit by providing operational rigor around the FS products' lifecycles. The responsibilities will primarily focus on understanding and documenting processes, tracking development work and bug fixes, and providing operational visibility of to the broader product team.

You will work with product leaders to identify areas of improvement within product operations that create efficiencies, enables faster product delivery timeframes and streamlines complex requirements. You will partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization to help remediate product issues, track resolution, and identify trends to improve overall customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Supports all products in the Financial Services business unit at the direction of his leader
  • Creates and maintains documentation on the functionality and evolution of all products
  • Collects and publishes most updated product roadmaps in coordination with the Product Managers
  • Tracks production issues and bugs, reports on their statuses, and ensures they are fixed in a timely manner
  • Tracks product development tasks, reports on their statuses, and provides updates on their expected completion dates.
  • Performs root cause analysis on issues and reports on the duration it took to fix
  • Provides visibility into Run-The-Business priorities and reports on their progress
  • Documents processes for cross-functional product initiatives
  • Compiles all relevant internal and external POCs for each product and discipline (i.e. Engineering, Marketing, Partner, Risk, Compliance, Customer Support, etc.)



Requirements and skills

  • 3+ years financial services experience or related work experience in product operations. PayPal experience a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience in operations management and automation, together with a willingness to learn and adapt as well as share expertise.
  • Comfortable working with data, making sense of metrics and translating results into actionable strategies/actions.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in business operations, product operations, business management and/or process improvement
  • Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for regular interaction with global team members, upper management, and partners.
  • Time management and organization skills to effectively plan and execute multiple large and small projects - with a willingness to adapt quickly to changing prioritization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent, applicable work experience.
