By collecting, correlating and analyzing motor vehicle records (MVRs) and other data sources, we identify driver risk and enable our customers to modify their drivers’ behavior, reduce accidents, ensure compliance, and lower costs — ultimately improving driver and community safety.

 

What we’re looking for:

As a Software Process Consultant at SambaSafety, you will work across multiple markets and commercial customers in targeted verticals. You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert for the customer and will engage in all stages of the customer journey. This role will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on SambaSafety’s products and driver risk data. Your expertise ensures all customers are successfully implemented and achieve full value from SambaSafety’s solutions. You will lead complex customer implementations by being the technical expert on our platform, how it can be used, and how it has been used to meet customers’ goals and objectives. You will communicate the value of the platform to a non-technical audience and help them feel comfortable and empowered with what they've learned. 

What you’ll do:

  • Be the technical subject matter expert, thoroughly understanding our product’s benefits and features while being able to communicate and consult with customers
  • Discover customer requirements and pain; including use cases, benefit statements, and 3rd party system integrations
  • Demonstrate an understanding of what the customer will need in terms of on-going service and manage the expectations of the customer
  • Work with the customer to problem-solve through every hurdle during the implementation process
  • Provide feedback to the Product Management team related to process or product improvements
  • Be an expert in available data and records and how customers can use the information to meet their business needs
  • During implementation provide technical assistance and troubleshooting services for clients
  • Analyze the technical and business requirements within companies and give independent and objective advice process and configuration
  • Analyze and understand detailed business requirements
  • Provide data mapping requirements and solution cross walks
  • Document business requirements; gather issues and update business process flows
  • Conduct customer discovery interviews to define the current and future state processes
  • Consult customers on best practices and process design that will enable the best value for customers
  • Conduct software trainings and reviews to ensure customers are getting maximum value
  • After implementation, partner with the designated Customer Success Manager to ensure the customer is receiving maximum value through day-to-day support

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years’ experience in business, consulting or analysis in technology / software / SaaS
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with 3rd party integrations and expertise in API build outs
  • Organization, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Effectively simplify and communicate complex subject matter – both verbally and written

Salary: $75k-$90k
