We are building a new product technology team to rebuild, relaunch, and evolve our consumer-facing web applications from scratch with modern agile best practices. As a Product Manager at Above Lending you will be devising product strategy, creating technical requirements, and overseeing the execution of high-impact initiatives.

What You'll Do

-Develop features and capabilities to support an end to end consumer lending platform 

-Oversee the development and management of real-time, large scale, and complex systems

-Drive product roadmap and own prioritization process for respective functional areas 

-Define the success metrics and OKRs by partnering with cross functional leaders

-Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights coupled with a deep understanding of consumer behavior to drive incremental benefits to the business 

-Understand financial and operational inefficiencies and optimize processes on the backend 

-Deliver clear and compelling product brief, specs, and user stories while partnering closely with engineering teams to ensure excellent product development execution

-Collaborate with both internal and offshore engineering teams to dictate product scope and articulate tradeoffs

What We Look For

-5+ years of product management experience; prior experience in the fintech or consumer lending space highly preferred 

-Experience defining strategic vision and tactical execution to build large scale platforms

-Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment across multiple locations and time zones to drive consensus in cross-functional teams

-Outstanding written and verbal communication with a diverse stakeholder audience

-Comfortable in an ambiguous matrixed organization

-Familiarity with a highly regulated industry

-Fluency with agile methodology, product management tools, SQL, Excel, web analytics, and AB testing software

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline (engineering, economics, finance, etc.)
