Primary Responsibilities:

  • Think strategically, and creatively, about how data management initiatives and stakeholder experience should work - translating a vision to processes and requirements
  • Navigate and influence multiple cross-functional teams in a complex, matrix work environment
  • Manage cross-segment data-centric projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing and analyzing
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Influence data management innovation across teams to ensure aligned, cohesive progress across technology, marketing, and service operations
  • Ensure there is a clear understanding of the opportunities of the problems that need to be solved and the benefit of the solution
  • Identify capabilities required to solve complex data-centric problems; prioritize problems and develop a road map that offers alternate methods of solving the problem
  • Certify the scope of the work that is scheduled in releases will achieve the benefit and value that is affected
  • Manage and ensure that the Requirements support the scope of the requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Product Management, Product development or Consulting experience (consulting between the business and a technical team, serving as a liaison)
  • 4+ years of experience breaking down requirements into Feature Level requirements and User Stories in an Agile environment
  • 4+ years of experience in data management functions (e.g., data warehousing, ETL, business intelligence, Big Data)
  • 1+ years of experience in cloud technology (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Experience working with Director level and above to define problems and priority of work
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree
  • Healthcare experience
  • Background in HealthCare Industry
  • Knowledge of Claims, Eligibility, Payer and Provider interactions
  • Experience with Aha! and CA Agile Central (Rally)

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
