Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive delivery of the product ecosystem roadmap to enhance products and features that improve the customer's overall experience, with a focus on improving quality of care delivery
  • Represent the voice of the customer while collaborating with the broader technology team in prioritizing efforts
  • Own specific deliverables to take the product from ideation through implementation and governance approvals
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to ensure buy-in of priorities and maximize overall value of product
  • Define and communicate customer personas, journey maps and respective business and product needs
  • Define High Level Requirements across a Matrixed Organization
  • Utilize influencing skills to build a collaborative culture and foster relationships with both internal and external strategic partners
  • Perform analysis on user needs, marketing insights, competitive intelligence, business needs and trends in the provider market to inform decision-making and product strategy
  • Drive third-party product evaluation to inform decision making and product strategy
  • Manage, support, and grow the product ecosystem in partnership with the broader product management team
  • Ensure solutions are delivered according to plan, including identifying and resolving risks and issues

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience or 2+ additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of experience leading customer-centric product development as a technology product owner or product manager
  • 5+ years of experience working with product development - owning and delivering end to end solutions, defining detailed business & technical features, collaborating with management stakeholders, and product, business teams
  • 3+ years of experience in leading the solution strategy, architecture and implementation of solutions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in performing Market and Financial Analysis
  • Experience in data quality or reporting applications
  • Healthcare experience
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, correlate and drive decisions from data assets

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
