Senior Technical Product Manager, Lead Generation
System1’s lead generation products connect consumers with leading brands and products that meet their needs. Powering this connection is a suite of internally developed products (platform, tooling, data, services) that make this possible. We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the product strategy and execution of our suite of backend lead generation products.
In this role you will be responsible for conceptualization through to delivery and all of the important touch points in between. You will work hand-in-hand with our awesome engineering, product, data, design, analytics, marketing, and business teams (just to name a few!) to deliver products that drive growth. You will provide leadership across cross-functional teams to accomplish complex goals. You will build and foster strong relationships across the company to innovate and support the further growth and success of products internally and externally. You will be data driven, architecturally minded, and solution focused whilst prioritizing collaboration and a team first mentality.
The Role You Will Have
- Develop and manage a product roadmap that drives growth and meets prioritized objectives
- Be an internal subject matter expert on lead generation products, services, and end to end data flows to support cross functional teams like Data Engineering, Tooling, Data Science, and Analytics
- Lead cross-functional teams to define detailed product specifications, establish milestones, and manage the development, implementation, and evolution of products
- Develop a deep understanding of users (both internal and external) to build and evolve products that meet their needs
- Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to increasingly complex business or technical problems
- Make build vs. buy decisions as well as propose architectural solutions to help evolve and scale products
- Work hand in hand with engineering to develop innovative technical architecture
- Be rooted in data. Understand revenue attribution, how to advance analytical capabilities and support teams in having the data they need to accomplish their goals
- Manage the backlog, coordinate and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, release notes, and demos
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Strong technical knowledge with technical background preferred
- Analytical and data-driven decision making. Experienced in leveraging data to gather user and product insights: SQL, Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics (and/or other data visualization tools)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to translate user needs into actionable solutions
- High standards and great attention to detail with proven bar-raising experience
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Lead generation and or AdTech/MarTech experience a strong plus
- Experience scaling platforms, services, products a strong plus
