Narvar is growing! We are hiring a Senior Product Writer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a strong content and technical writing background. 

As a Senior Product Writer, you will make it easy for our customers to onboard, integrate and use Narvar products with contextual documentation and compelling learning solutions.

As a writer you live and breathe the written word and are a guru at taking the complicated and breaking it down into understandable chunks. You thrive on creating a compelling story and guiding users through product onboarding and learning.

Day-to-day

  • Responsible for simplifying, organizing, and explaining concepts and features across all of Narvar Products. (new products, features, and use cases). 
  • Name new features and craft key messages and value propositions for new products.
  • Work alongside designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers on high-priority projects to start drafting the write story and documentation as they go into development.
  • Find intuitive and elegant solutions, crafting copy that resonates with our growing audience and provides measurable value to the business
  • Document standards, guidelines, and best practices for customer support teams and sales engineers
  • Help standardize process and language across product writing teams
  • Create self service tutorials for business users including mixed media such as video or blogs.
  • Organize documentation and make it easily discoverable.
  • Setup, maintain and measure content quality standards through curation and training.
  • Write and edit knowledge center content used to communicate with external customers to resolve issues.
  • Work alongside and mentor other product writers

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of experience with writing external and internal software product documentation and learning materials.
  • Strong familiarity with UX copywriting, content design, and a genuine love of writing.
  • Proven experience planning and delivering customer-focused documentation
  • Adept at communicating technical concepts clearly and precisely.
  • Proficient in HTML, Markdown.
  • Experience creating automated documentation tools.

Bonus Points

  • Technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation.
  • Strong/ proven understanding of APIs (standards like OpenAPI), authentication standards (Oauth).
  • UX copy writing experience for SaaS products.
  • Video creation and editing experience
  • Experience leading and/or mentoring junior team members
