Job Overview
Under limited guidance, manages and coordinates the qualification and deployment of business IT systems. Collaborates with business leaders, end users, other IT departments, and software vendors to develop and provide appropriate installation and support strategies for regional and global business applications. Provides technical support, consulting, and system-related cost/benefit analysis to project teams, customers, business leaders, and bid defense teams. Collaborates with various groups to assist in the production of the system architecture and data model. Assists in the vendor and product selection process and identifies new technologies and assists in the determination of support requirements.

Essential Functions • Manage and coordinate the implementation of internal, external and off-the-shelf business applications with IT and business groups.• Working with the IT System Architecture and System Engineering teams to support evaluations and procurement of new hardware and software• Working with the Business Analyst team to assist in the creation of non-functional requirements for areas such as system capacity planning and system monitoring.• Creation of deployment instructions and installation qualification scripts.• Assist with creation and approval of change management tickets.• Coordinate the training of global support staff on how to deploy and support business applications in the Production environment.• Manage the application inventory system to ensure that it accurately reflect the current IT environment.• Work with other groups within IT to manage multiple non-production instances of business applications, such as QA and TEST instances.• Assist the support team to restore services and correct core problems in the Production environment.• Communicate IT issues and provide information to IT staff at various levels of seniority.• Maintain knowledge of the IT industry, analyze the abilities of tools and technologies and compare with the needs of the business, recommend potential solutions to IT leadership.

Qualifications• Solid technical background and experience with Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, Linux, ORACLE and SQL Server databases.• Possesses fine-tuned analytical skills and/or programming experience• Scripting experience (VBScript and/or PowerShell)• System deployment/implementation expertise• Possesses exemplary written and verbal skills• Possesses leadership and mentoring skills

Minimum Required Education and Experience• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Information Management preferred• 5-7 years business experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
