The Credit Karma Money team is a fundamental piece to achieving that vision. We want to change consumers’ relationship with money, to help them spend wisely, save for the future and build wealth. With the launch of high yield savings (CK Money Save) last year and checking/debit (CK Money Spend) this year, we are well on our way to achieving this vision of helping our members throughout their financial journey.

As Senior Manager of Product Partnerships for Credit Karma Money, you will be responsible for developing and managing partnerships with critical fintech, payments, and banking providers that enable the Credit Karma Money platform. You will lead deals from conception-through-execution, working alongside a cross-functional team including product and engineering, as well as our executives. Your efforts will include diligencing potential partners, negotiating deals, overseeing integrations, and managing ongoing relationships.      

This role is critical to scaling one of Credit Karma’s most strategic businesses. Executing on our vision will require developing and managing an ecosystem of innovative partners that can support and accelerate our efforts to build differentiated, best-in-class experiences for our members.  

What you’ll do:

  • Scope, build, foster and scale some of Credit Karma Money’s most critical partnerships
  • Own the full deal process including partner evaluation, negotiation, closing, and integration 
  • Execute cross-functionally with a wide range of internal stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Risk, and Legal
  • Serve as primary point of contact for partner relationships; thoughtfully and proactively manage internal and partner requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Define the long-term vision for key partnerships and continuously track progress
  • Develop scalable processes to manage complex and nuanced partnerships and integrations
  • Play a key role in guiding strategy for Credit Karma Money by analyzing and providing perspectives on the business impact of potential partnership efforts

Minimum Basic Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with 8+ years of partnerships, investment banking, consulting, and/or strategic BD experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A detailed understanding of consumer financial services – a vision for the role of fintech in consumers' lives and a commitment to advance Credit Karma’s forward-looking initiatives
  • Proven track record of developing scale partnerships and strategic long-lasting, trusted partner relationships
  • Significant contract negotiation experience and outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - adept at analyzing and synthesizing data to support strategies and communications internally and externally
  • Able to drive and project manage cross-functional initiatives at scale
  • Ability to creatively structure or brainstorm product solutions with both external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Tech savvy and knowledgeable about using technology to build partnerships (e.g. API integrations, digital app distribution/monetization and product development processes)
  • Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
