This multidimensional role will focus on the various aspects of partnerships across Onfido’s business both from the supply side (“product partnerships”) and the distribution side (“commercial partnerships”).


As a Senior Product Partnerships Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to build some of Onfido’s most strategic new partnerships and integrations, to continue driving our exponential growth!


You will be a member of the Product BD team, a part of Onfido’s product organization, and collaborate across all levels and departments in Onfido to execute on our strategic partnership strategy. 


You will play a critical role in helping Onfido build strategic product partnerships with some of the key players in the Fintech ecosystem. 


This is a highly visible role and has the potential to make a significant impact on our business.


For the Product Partnerships component, the role will be focused on identifying key partners to directly integrate into the Onfido platform and utilize their capabilities as part of the overall Onfido value proposition. In certain cases, third party products are mature and commoditized or very specialized and should be directly leveraged by Onfido versus built in-house.


This role will support all areas of the product platform to identify these partnership opportunities, work with the respective core PM to build the strategy and business case and then execute the partnership and execute the technical integration.


For the Commercial Partnerships component, the Partner PM will work closely with the Commercial Partnerships team to build and maintain strong integrations into broader solution platforms to embed Onfido’s IDV to make it available for platform distribution and joint value propositions on the go-to-market side of the relationship. This domain has an associated engineering team, and this role will have product management responsibilities with this team.


This role will leverage the core product strategies of each individual product area and then build a partnership strategy on top of that to find a short list of applicable partners.


It is expected that this person will spend most of their time working with Product and Technical leaders within Onfido and with the market ecosystem externally.


What you’ll do:

  • Build and expand our partnerships with key vendors at both a product and go-to-market level and own the execution of these opportunities. 
  • Build and present the business case for new partnership initiatives to external and internal stakeholders to help prioritize integration development.
  • Collaborate with the product marketing and other Go-To-Market teams to drive adoption & commercial impact from new integrations.
  • Build strategic relationships with product & BD stakeholders across Onfido’s most important partners, including Salesforce, Microsoft, Okta and other players in the Fintech ecosystem.
  • Gather customer feedback about integration requests and work closely with product management to deliver.
  • Work closely with our sales teams to drive joint go-to-market activities with our partner vendors and increase revenue.
  • Produce high-quality marketing materials, such as partnership announcements, press releases, customer case studies, joint webinars, solution briefs, blogs, and more.
  • Attend industry events and on-sites hosted by partners.
  • Perform regular market research and analysis on industry peers, looking for additional partnership opportunities.

What we're hoping to see highlighted on your CV and application:

  • An established Product Manager with several major cycles (multi-quarter) of defining a product, deploying it and managing it operationally within a technical domain
  • Experience working with technically complex domains, architectures and products combined with an ability to drive product discussions in these areas
  • Evidence of a structured approach to identifying the right priorities for users
  • Able to ask the right questions, and listen carefully to the relevant answers
  • Creative problem solver with a holistic mindset - connecting the dots, systematic in structuring them and detail-oriented in specifying them
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to define product requirements
  • Action-oriented and able to motivate teams and colleagues towards achieving goals
  • A highly empathetic, collaborative and growth mindset
