Senior Product Operations Analyst
We are in search of a Sr Product Operations Analyst to join our Product Organization as the owner of our processes and the flag-bearer of evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
This role provides a 360° view of the entire business, working closely with the leaders of Product & Development. In this role, you will seek out and remove blockers for bringing evidence to the table when important decisions are made at all levels, especially within the Product Organization. You will build, own, and constantly improve the processes around the product team to help with planning, roadmap building, initiatives tracking and more.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing data to identify trends that influence performance; both in terms of the client impact and internal company performance.
- Advocating for proper tooling, instrumentation, and best practices for data collection throughout the organization.
- Identifying data integrity issues and advocating for resolutions.
- Interfacing with other departments in the organization (Engineering, Success, Sales, Finance, Data Science, Release Management) to ensure availability of cross-functional data.
- Driving alignment between departments to ensure uniformity of data and key concepts.
- Correlating cross-functional data to analyze product development investment and return based on client segments, activity types, and products.
- Finding opportunities to automate data gathering, correlating, analysis, and reporting activities.
- Preparing detailed reports for internal operational views within the department and across the organization
- Supporting product leaders with data and other information for the Board of Directors.
- Surfacing ways to articulate key decisions and recommendations with data, models and trends.
Experience/Education:
- Familiar with the main tools of the trade:
- Data query tools / languages (SQL, Python)
- Data visualization tools (eg. Tableau, PowerBI)
- Spreadsheets
- Experienced with using, configuring, and querying at least some of the following tools:
- Jira
- Salesforce
- Zendesk
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
