Our Opportunity:

 Chewy is hiring a Sr. Product Manager - Conversion Analytics for our  eCommerce team – Storefront Cart & Checkout in Boston, MA. The Ideal candidate will have experience is setting Product vision for analytics teams, integrating and scaling data applications, and a passion for creating best-in-class analytics solutions.  You will also be responsible for partnering with Business Intelligence teams to evaluate and integrate new analytics platforms while continuously improving data quality, governance, and documentation across Storefront Cart & Checkout platforms. The ideal candidate also excels at developing and delivering product roadmaps with proven experience exceeding customer expectations. This is a high-profile position that will have exposure across the entire business, influencing the vision and implementation of critical data insights across the “Lower Funnel” of Chewy.com.

What you’ll do:

  • Create roadmap definition in collaboration with technical and product leadership including implementation plans, communicating strategy, prioritizing deliverables/milestones and building consensus.
  • Construct and deliver product roadmaps on tight timelines that deliver insightful and user-friendly dashboards for both internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to identify and manage priorities within the context of overall company objectives based on data driven decision making.
  • Lead recurring intake and prioritization forums to evaluate the analytics needs of stakeholders.
  • Establish frameworks to monitor and improve the customer experience on an ongoing basis.
  • Deliver automated solutions for multiple parallel workstreams for key input and output metrics with internal and external stakeholders that show case data for past as well as anticipate any future trends.
  • Develop and proactively monitor metrics and dashboards that evaluate the health of data quality, systems, and data processes.
  • Own and continually improve metrics documentation and data governance.
  • Establish strong working relationships at all organizational levels and across functional teams as the subject matter expert for your team.

 What you’ll need

  • Demonstrated history of implementing and managing multiple software development projects.
  • Passion for data and an obsession to use data to drive value for customers and business.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce in delivering analytics tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • Technical savvy, including knowledge/skill of databases and business intelligence.
  • Previous experience with SQL and Tableau.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Data Manipulation, Formulas etc.)
  • Experience in communication with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
  • Ability to perform business requirements analysis and design with strong prioritization skills to identify minimal viable/lovable products.
  • Capability to identify and mitigate development and implementation risks
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or a related degree with analytics, quantitative and technical emphasis; MBA or Masters in Statistics or Analytics preferred.
  • Position may require occasional travel.

 Bonus:

  • Knowledge of Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Jenkins, Confluence).
  • Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Understanding of eCommerce Business & Financial KPIs and P&L statements.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, follows up with clients and team members, and takes initiative to anticipate and solve problems.
