The role
Our Product Team is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to join us in creating cutting-edge products and features that span the Feedonomics Platform. Your focus will be on building new features and improving existing features on our product roadmap. This includes user-facing workflows for data mapping, categorization, optimization, and s yndication to channels.
As a member of our Product team, you'll work closely with leadership, stakeholders and engineering to define features and ensure alignment on what we build and how we fulfill it.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other product managers, designers, researchers, data analysts and engineering teams to develop product strategy and prioritize features that bring the most value to our customers.
  • Being fully responsible for one or a few product domain areas and leading development team(s) which have to provide a high quality product to the market.
  • Enthusiastically lead developers and designers towards your vision with effective delivery
  • Work collaboratively to break-down complex projects into small projects, with each iteration adding more customer value.
  • Communicate business outcomes and performance metrics to key stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Gathering requirements from stakeholders (organization of process of gathering requirements; always be in-touch with Sales Department, Operations, Support, and other Product Managers within the company)
  • Preparing comprehensive description of Stories and Epics for development team(s)
  • Working with the Design team to prototype new features.
  • Validating new functionality with customers before development.
  • Explain to the development team(s) all details of stories before/over development (organization of explanation process - planning, grooming meetings etc.)
  • Provide feedback after testing of stories which were specified by yourself.
  • Demo new functionality to the stakeholders, the organization and customers.
  • Manage the product backlog and sprint backlog in Jira. Make it clear and up-to-date.
  • Analyze data to measure the impact of product improvements, and then iterate to constantly optimize performance.


Experience and Skills

  • Depending on the size and type of teams/companies you've worked at in the past, you have 5+ years' experience in Product Management.
  • You're passionate about building next-generation products for the fast-growing e-commerce industry.
  • You get excited about tackling big, complicated and often ambiguous problems.
  • You understand that human behavior is complex and changing behaviors is a lot harder than building features and technology.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You're curious and love trying new things. You ask yourself "why did they build it that way?" or "what would happen if...?"
  • You've got good UX instincts. You won't need to do your own designs but you'll work effectively with your design and research peers.
  • You think analytically.
  • You're great at communicating and negotiating with cross-functional teams. You are a powerful influencer, and people like working with you even if they might disagree with you.
  • You're energetic and creative. You have a bias for action and make things happen.
  • You've designed and shipped products that lots of people use and love.
  • You've proven you can execute high-profile projects in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
  • You have a technical background, or technical orientation, enough to get in the weeds with engineers to understand the pros and cons of different technologies, design and potential solutions
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer focused innovation.


Education

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in CS or Engineering
