Job Description
Position Summary:
We are looking for a strong Product Manager to join our growing team. You will be supporting our new Xplor Studio product as it expands to service new fitness modalities and drive our customer's businesses forward. You'll be responsible for developing a crisp understanding of the customer, identifying opportunities to deliver customer value, iterating towards continued product market fit, and delivering a differentiated offering to the boutique fitness industry. You will work closely with an existing product team that includes software engineers, designers, and user researchers.
Reports to: Global Product Lead, Boutique Wellness
Location: Remote
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Develop a command of the boutique fitness market through customer engagement, supporting research efforts, and competitive analysis.
Engage current and prospective clients directly to understand core business challenges, evolving needs, and areas of opportunity.
Make difficult priority decisions about which initiatives and assumptions should be pursued and ultimately committed to for development.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap leveraging input from internal expertise, user research, and boutique fitness partners.
Align product roadmap with broader product strategy articulated by the Chief Product Officer and Senior Leadership.
Support rapid iteration, beta launches, and user testing to clarify understanding of customer pain points and test assumptions.
Determine minimum viable product for an initiative and articulate a strategy for capturing feedback to inform continued iteration.
Establish a process with the product team for capturing and documenting customer feedback to inform future product iterations.
Act as a liaison with leads from engineering, design, research, sales and operations to ensure the product team is focused on the right problems at the right time.
Partner with research to determine core initiatives that need further investigation and understanding.
Partner with engineering to define functional requirements, core use cases, and release strategy for product initiatives.
Partner with marketing, design, and sales teams to articulate product positioning and value proposition for changes introduced to the product.
Qualifications
Experience /Education:
4+ years experience as a product manager for a complex product,
2+ years experience working within SaaS products preferred (B2B2C or B2B)
Strong track record working effectively with engineering, sales, design, research, and marketing colleagues required
Experience working with APIs is a plus
Experience working with Jira is a plus
Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
Work Skills/Personal Characteristics:
Passion for fitness, our vision, and the problem we are solving
Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data analysis, or willingness to learn.
Be a self-starter; we’re a small team and tend towards self-direction under the umbrella of our team goals.
Strong organizational skills. Be able to manage multiple initiatives at different stages.
Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
Experience giving and receiving constructive feedback from varying teams.
