Hypori is seeking a Sr Product Manager to lead both functional and non-functional concepts of the Hypori HALO SaaS. The Sr Product Manager is responsible for ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives, management of product roadmap and priorities, market and product requirements process, product planning, product launch, and product lifecycle management. This is a both a customer-facing and technical, hands-on role which requires the candidate to be a strategic leader, a collaborative team member, as well as a technically skilled contributor. 


Responsibilities

  • Understand and synthesize customer, market, and business needs to inform and drive product strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends.
  • Collaborate with Security, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, Customer Success, and the Leadership team to define requirements to align with the overall business strategy and goals.
  • Develop product vision and strategic product roadmap influenced by key themes and investment decisions.
  • Deliver a financially sound, continuously improving technology platform.
  • Support Product Leadership in creation of product management plans, product-specific business plans, and product and release launch plans.
  • Monitor release schedules to ensure product and feature availability.
  • Create and manage cross functional teams as required to accomplish objectives and resolve problems.
  • Balance product requirements and development resource constraints to establish achievable product development schedules and budgets.
  • Develop and deliver content for customers, analyst, and sales teams.
  • Serve as Mobile App (APK) subject matter expert during sales and implementation efforts with particular focus on the commercial market.
  • Assist sales and executive team in closing opportunities, as needed.
  • Travel 10%.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management, Sales Engineering, and Software Development Life Cycle experience.
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff members.
  • Product design experience for cloud-scale enterprise software deployed globally and run 24x7 as a service on cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Prior success in matrixed teams and working with engineering to design, architect, and implement cloud infrastructure for highly available, scalable, reliable, and secure cloud platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer-first approach with ability to balance business needs against customer requirements to deliver an optimized experience.
  • Experience in conducting competitive research and analysis.

  • Must be adept at working in a matrix position where results must be achieved across various departments without line authority. Comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent people engagement, communication, and presentation skills both written and oral. Must be effective with all levels of the organization.  Must be able to represent the Company externally with partners, customers, and end users.
  • Technical understanding to translate customer application needs to product requirements and to communicate product benefits to the channel and end users.
  • Demonstrated experience marketing technology products to the SME and/or enterprise market.
