Senior Product Manager
Job Description
Cerner's Real-Time Health Systems Security Business Group is hiring a Senior Product Manager to manage strategy execution for Security product components or features. You will also balance resources for one or more scrum teams across features, defects, risk prevention, and retirement of technical debt; prioritize the product roadmap, manage interdependencies and decide when to release the new functionality; and translate market requirements into product features. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will also own the product backlog, working through the product owner or directly with the scrum team to prioritize and clarify complex product requirements; lead product proof-of-concept and experimentation processes; and lead effective product partner validation processes, Partner relationship. Finally, you will collaborate with cross-organizational stakeholders to ensure the successful release of new or improved product functionalities and monitor and manage the product's in-market performance throughout its lifecycle; identify and execute needed actions based on actual vs expected market performance. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- At least 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 2 years of product management, product design, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other HCIT solution work experience
- At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP - Project Management Professional certification

Working Environment Description
This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote.
