The Team
We're looking for someone who thrives in an environment of trust, adaptability, optimism, and consistent questioning of the status quo. We trust our Product Management team to define the future of GoGuardian, and in turn, the future of our impact on education.
The Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be the loudest advocate for your users. You will use your strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of your users' community to set a clear vision and strategy for your product and make critical, evidence-based prioritization decisions that help us grow as market leaders. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to ensure you keep a strong pulse on the market and that our products are innovative and continuously evolve to exceed our users' needs. You will also work closely with your fellow Product Managers, creating opportunities for mentorship and assisting in their developmental growth.
What You'll Do

    • Develop an exceptional understanding of the needs of students, guardians, educators, and administrators through structured user research
    • Define and carry out the product vision for users, champion it through the entire product lifecycle, and manage tactical initiatives
    • Ensure your teams are working on the most impactful projects through evidence-based prioritization
    • Collaborate across the organization to think outside of the current roadmap and build a strategic vision around the future of the product and market
    • Own large and complex strategic decisions, often with a build, buy, partner framework
    • Measure and share the success of your product and its ability to solve problems through both quantitative and qualitative measures
    • Educate, advocate, and evangelize your product initiatives so there is internal awareness and alignment
    • Help your teammates grow professionally, and grow by learning from them


Who You Are

    • You have 4+ years of experience of product ownership/management experience
    • User-centricity and empathy is at the core of your approach to product management
    • You're able to easily switch between thinking creatively and analytically and make time for both
    • You have a strong EQ. You're highly collaborative and know how to foster relationships to further support your product and are comfortable being the final decision maker
    • You have an advanced ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and delegate tasks
    • You approach problems with a data-driven mindset, building hypotheses and testing their validity with experimentation and measurable results.
    • You have worked extensively with qualitative customer feedback and quantitative data to inform decisions. You've conducted user research and orchestrated tests in cooperation with researchers and analysts
    • You don't need explicit direction or micro-managing. You're self-driven, entrepreneurial, value product team alignment and can use your resources to accomplish your goals on your own
    • You have exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
    • You have an ability to effectively operate with high-energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
    • You have an understanding of the technical architecture of complex & modern web applications. You're able to tailor the level of technical communication based on the audience the room
