Senior Product Manager (Technical)
The Senior Product Manager will be apart of a team that oversees the Time & Pay product suite. As a member of the team you will participate in product strategy, concept development, and accomplishing these projects in collaboration with our partners. You will perform product configuration and be a liaison to development, implementation and support teams. You will have understanding of business and technical capabilities, identify gaps and provide product roadmaps for new capabilities. You will be collaborative, able to work in a matrix organization while wearing multiple hats, and can combine a variety of technologies and capabilities into high-quality, simple products and applications.
Responsibilities :
- Lead creation of technical specification, schemas, data mappings and user stories to help system modification or development
- Participate in functional design, construction and testing
- Develop configurations of SaaS solution to meet business labor rules for Time and Pay
- Help with third-party/vendor assessments and reviews contracts to ensure that they support requirements
- Provide thoughtful leadership and assert influence by guiding complex projects to completion
- Recommend process and technology improvements to increase the effectiveness of the product and prioritizing plans relative to needs
- Manage project interdependencies to support business strategies, roadmaps and financial commitments
- Escalates issues and recommends appropriate solutions
- Work with the business to determine the issue that needs to be solved or the opportunity to do things differently based on customer feedback
- Provide advice and recommendations on latest trends which will be useful to both the business and IT in the delivery of the projects
- Ensure requirements are in consideration of goals of the project and refined to a level of detail to allow Architects and Software Engineers to develop appropriate solutions
- Approve solution designs, ensuring requirements are validated and delivered
- Ensure the required outcomes are built, tested, communicated, and delivered on time and within budget
Basic Qualifications :
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Technical product knowledge
- XML knowledge
- Analytics experience with SQL and non-SQL-based database technologies to understand the nuances of data pipeline issues & solutions
- Understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)
- Experience with JIRA or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical analysis
- Basic knowledge integrating cloud-based data pipelines and analytics services
Required Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field or related work experience
