Senior Product Manager
Summary
Aristocrat's mobile-first games division, Pixel United, is looking for a Senior Product Manager with a passion for gaming, defining product requirements and collaborating with development teams to deliver our product strategy.
This role will be highly visible to senior leadership and at the core of defining product requirements to support development of new and existing gaming products and engines. Role requires individual to understand needs of the customer, as well as both player and market trends within the various markets. The individual will interact with a wide range of internal customers ranging across all departments. This role will be responsible to communicate the requirements for the product they are assigned, ensuring market problems are solved, and product deadlines are met with high quality. This position also entails dependency alignment, backlog prioritization and is actively involved in live issue resolution.
The individual will work closely with game studios and mobile app organizations to ensure that market needs are solved in product releases. This role will be at the forefront of Aristocrat's continuing mission to maintain a dominant position in the market through effective and creative product strategy.
What you'll do

  • Manage the product content roadmap and strategic alignment.
  • Slot game play mechanics understanding, and game development experience are strongly preferred.
  • Support development of high-quality products through clear and complete product requirements at the start of development.
  • Ability to interact with internal customers and demonstrate product knowledge
  • Responsible to deliver detailed product requirements and manage sprint priorities to support development
  • Delivery of complete requirements including use cases, acceptance criteria, and defining industry standards
  • Work with technology delivery leads to commit to product delivery timelines meeting market needs.
  • Dependency alignment across technology stacks and participates in defining product solutions to deliver a product meeting market need.
  • Additional duties as assigned


What we're looking for

  • Experience documenting software product requirements and product backlog management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to compile documentation reporting accurate and consumable product status.
  • Experience in understanding and communicating product vision.
  • Must be able to comprehend technical challenges, understand limitations and impact to the customer, and manage risk in reviewing technology options.
  • Evaluate new features against product requirements to ensure market needs are satisfied.
  • Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially with software developers, project managers, and other product managers.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; welcomes the challenge of refining a high-level vision into deliverable requirements.
  • Must be a "team-player" with the ability to work within collaborative environments to organize and facilitate program reviews, roadmap reviews, new product initiation meetings and investigations, and business case reviews.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
