Responsibilities:

• You will report to the Product Director and work directly with our teams to identify opportunities, set product direction and define our releases
• You'll be passionate about solving different problems with complex requirements and work with product designers, researchers, engineers, product marketing, and others to build and launch great products for our users
• You'll also be able to plan product iterations and organize and prioritize the product backlog and strategy to interest and motivate the team
• You will explore the competitive space, work with the customers, form the vision and maintain the roadmap for your area, keeping it aligned with our strategic priorities
• Determine user experiences/scopes and provide necessary advocacy for them to be executed on
• Work with the product design and engineering teams to architect and ship new capabilities of the database to delight users
• Balance (sometimes conflicting) priorities on a roadmap to benefit users and enable new use cases, maintain a prioritized backlog
• Advocate for our customers with passion about operational performance, predictability, and security
• Collect and analyze data that guide product decisions
• Be just as comfortable troubleshooting bugs and reviewing technical designs as they are collaborating on a marketing campaign, presenting to partners, or producing sales collateral
• Work with peers in product management and other disciplines to ensure agreement and common success

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience, managing one or multiple products, including multiple release cycles
• Skills to communicate product strategy to all of the relevant partners
• Technical analysis – while not expected to write code, we prefer that you will be comfortable talking with our engineers about solutions, learning from existing examples, exploring APIs, assessing bugs, analyzing support cases, and speaking on any of the technical aspects of the tools in your portfolio
