About The Role:

The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for gathering, evaluating, and defining requirements to develop creative solutions for the innovative Digit platform to exceed customer business expectations. This role also verifies that the fleet management teams deploy solutions that meet customer requirements and plays a leading role in Agility’s market expansion effort. This position will be highly visible, reports directly to the VP of Operations, has great potential for advancement in a rapidly growing company, and requires the candidate to establish and manage expectations with customers, vendors, executives, and department leaders within Agility Robotics.

Responsibilities:

  • Define product requirements and specifications according to the market or customer needs, and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high quality, high value solutions
  • Drive solution vision and direction for automation using robotics, exhibiting strong strategy, execution, design, and analytics skills
  • Build relationships across Agility engineering teams to understand and represent their needs and pain-points into product designs
  • Prioritize product and solution development items for highest impact and faster-time-to market
  • Oversee all activities associated with the product and solution lifecycles, including development, launch, growth, maturity, and sunset
  • Work closely with Business Development and Marketing teams on product messaging, product positioning, value proposition, and market segmentation to ensure successful product launches
  • Develop an ambitious yet practical solutions roadmap that pushes the boundaries of what's possible today in industrial robotics and automation
  • Leverage expertise in structuring and running market, customer, and competitive research within the autonomous robotics space
  • Conduct usability studies and industry analysis to integrate into product requirements
  • Create and maintain comprehensive product specifications and artifacts such as product requirements documents and solution design documents
  • Collaborate on all business readiness activities including performance testing, deployment, fleet management, end user education, customer support, and service activities
  • Help develop KPIs and metrics to foster a culture of data-driven decision making


Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a technical field or relevant experience
  • 7+ years experience in product management
  • 4+ years experience building, delivering, and supporting applications of industrial robotics or AI systems in commercial applications
  • Having a broad understanding of robot mechanisms, architectures, and autonomous solutions
  • Having experience with supporting prototype hardware in the field
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product principles to customers
  • Driving transformational change in mission-critical operations environments and building new business segments within an existing organization
  • Building and leading high-functioning teams
  • Providing clear direction and detailed updates to senior leadership, executive stakeholders, and customers
  • Operating in a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and extensive presentation experience
  • Technical experience with software products, analytical tools, methodologies, and design
  • Experience working with senior leaders across organizations to drive business decisions
  • Strong data analytics and business acumen
  • Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies

Preferred:

  • Masters Degree in business field or relevant experience
  • LEAN/SixSigma Black Belt or AGILE certifications
  • Extensive experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience working with international customers or vendors including standards and export control
  • Proficiency in using G-Suite and Windows-based computer application
