Senior Product Manager

Job Description

Overview

As a Senior Product Manager for CoStar Real Estate Manager's information products, you'll be responsible to help shape & execute CoStar Real Estate Manager's strategy for our best-in-class Commercial Real Estate data & software platform. You will work closely with senior management, stakeholders, product and engineering teams to define the strategy for and guide the delivery of our Real Estate Transaction Management platform.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for all elements of Product Management. You will shepherd new products and features from initial concept through development and release. This includes defining and documenting user stories, writing & reviewing acceptance criteria, working with the development teams and QA as well as reviewing with internal and external stakeholders. Specifically, this role will be focused on Real Estate Portfolio and Transaction management. The candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, user experience designers, developers and our implementation teams to ensure that

Responsibilities :

  • Owning the product roadmap for CoStar Real Estate Manager's Real Estate Transaction Management Products
  • Working with client and internal stakeholders to design and deliver new features and functionality to our global user base
  • Drive product releases in a fast-paced Agile software development environment.
  • This the writing of user stories, prioritizing releases, maintaining a product roadmap and backlog, and creating release notes.
  • Work closely with clients, senior executives, engineering, QA, consulting, marketing and sales to strategize, plan, and build products and plans.
  • Understand and analyze external and internal customer needs and communicate those needs to the organization.
  • Organize user testing, collect feedback and organize into actionable development priorities.
  • Use customer data & usage analytics to inform product opportunities and evaluate results.
  • Be willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty working with our very enthusiastic teams to build some amazing tools.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of Product Management and/or Product Owner experience with a track record delivering industry leading products and solutions
  • 3+ years delivering product for an online information product
  • Experience with commercial real estate in either transactions or portfolio administration
  • Managed sprint schedules and resources in an agile-scrum development environment
  • Experience defining and detailing product requirements and launching products/functionality enhancements to meet customer needs
  • Experience planning, documenting, and communicating product implementations
  • Experience creating wireframes and workflow diagrams
  • Experience collaborating with design and engineering teams to deliver product features
  • A self-starter mindset and are comfortable working on new products that are loosely defined
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using TFS, Aha, or Jira.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Pendo, or other analytics tools
