Poly is hiring a Senior Product Manager within our Video Business Unit to focus on next generation Video Infrastructure and Video product portfolio. You will lead a team of experts to invent and deliver the future of work on behalf of our end users to provide total equality between those in the room and those who aren't.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will report directly to the Sr Director of Product Management developing the long-term global product roadmap for our Video products. This is a very strategic role where you will seek to discover market challenges and opportunities through your analysis of customer, channel, and competitive intelligence.

At your core you are passionate about developing and driving long-term roadmaps which outline key product offerings, positioning, pricing, warranty and profitability guidelines for a complete product line business plan. As a subject matter expert in this space you'll work closely with Engineering, Sales, Pricing, Finance and Corporate Strategy to define and implement an integrated Enterprise Product Roadmap.

Your day to day

  • Develop relationships with new customers, as well as existing customers, by traveling to customers sites to uncover their UC challenges.
  • Understanding competitive market and technology trends
  • Oversee short term and long term Product Roadmap and aligning it to the overall Product Strategy and Company Vision.
  • Strategically develop product positioning considering pricing, innovations, feature benefit value, and unique selling propositions (USP).
  • Develop and devlier new product presentations and updates to Program Management leadership as well as Executive Leadership within Poly.
  • Partner with sales, product marketing, OPS, corporate strategy and pricing teams to develop and drive alignment and execution of our forecasts, P&L's and new product ROI's to ensure revenue and profitability goals.
  • Serve as primary product expert and evangelist across internal company departments, events, or Customer meetings.
  • Work with marketing and channel/field teams on definition and execution of launch activities, messaging and field programs.

What you bring to the team

  • You possess strong leadership skills with business acumen
  • You can work collaboratively with a cross discipline team as a subject matter expert
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enable informed decision making
  • You are experience presenting to audiences of technical / professional users, management, and/or customers
  • You have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of product management experience with a demonstrated success in launching products and successfully managing product lifecycles
  • You are experienced in understanding market / competitive trends and customer problems
  • You are familiar with financial analysis, ROI and accounting concepts
  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology related field
  • You will travel approximately 50% of time to Customer sites, Customer events etc.
