The Red Hat Cloud Platforms Business team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing team focused on Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes. In this role, you will work with our engineering and UX teams to design and build the industry's leading Kubernetes-native security solution. You will actively contribute to prioritizing and communicating the requirements of the offering to guide development, planning and managing new releases of the offering, supporting marketing launches, engaging field teams in advanced sales opportunities, performing competitive analysis, and working with partners. You'll need to enjoy solving challenging technical problems and managing complex projects. As a Senior Product Manager, you will engage with industry and open source communities related to Kubernetes and container security. This is a great opportunity to work on a fast-growing offering alongside some of the brightest minds in the cloud-native ecosystem. What you will do

  • Collect and document input from Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security users, partners, community members, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and inform the roadmap for the offering
  • Prioritize and define requirements, epics, and user stories for new releases of our offering
  • Guide major enhancements of our offering by working cross-functionally with core teams across engineering, UX design, and product marketing
  • Collaborate with the broader product team to manage releases and updates for our offering and bring new features to market
  • Understand market trends and the competitive landscape to inform key product decisions, including researching competitive solutions
  • Work with sales teams to respond to customer inquiries, deliver customer presentations and demos, and support the overall sales process
  • Contribute to marketing activities, including creating presentations, blogs, demos, and other technical content
  • Review and provide feedback on product documentation


What you will bring

  • 3+ years of enterprise software industry experience in product management, software engineering, technical marketing, or an equivalent technical product or customer-facing role
  • Experience with container technologies, e.g., Kubernetes or Docker, or cloud platforms, e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and solid ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline


The following are considered a plus:

  • Experience with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) ecosystem of cloud-native technologies and open source projects
  • Familiarity with modern security or DevSecOps practices
  • Knowledge of distributed, complex, and highly scalable systems
