As Senior Product Manager - Search & Network Advertising within our FindLaw business, you will play a crucial role in helping our law firm customers achieve their marketing and business development goals through digital advertising products covering search, ad networks and marketplaces, and partnerships.

In this role you'll own the vision, direction, and priorities for these digital advertising products, managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution. You will understand customer and user needs in depth; communicate those needs crisply and succinctly across the organization; and work with execution teams to translate those needs into clear priorities, compelling roadmaps and high-impact, innovative solutions. You'll be trusted to take on new and ambiguous projects and initiatives related to these products and help set clear direction and solve complex and difficult marketing problems with for customers.

About the Role

As the Senior Product Manager - Search & Network Advertising, you will:

  • Develop strong product intuition by interpreting and assessing customer problems, business needs, market opportunities and competitive assets to develop products and solutions with a moderate level of guidance and direction.
  • Build market leading capabilities and products by creating a vision for product and maintaining the product roadmap and partnering closely Tech, Analytics and Operations teams to execute the roadmap and deliver efficiently. This includes serving as the customer voice for the engineering teams, prioritizing the product backlog based on customer and business value, and using metrics to monitor and measure progress.
  • Work closely with Digital Solutions operations teams responsible for executing and delivering the products for law firm customers to collect feedback, identify opportunities for product and operational improvement.
  • Demonstrate leadership by taking extreme ownership for a feature/product, its performance and reliability, and delighting our clients with a positive experience. You will show that you can learn from your experiences, recover from setbacks, and effectively evangelize the product vision to colleagues.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Product Manager - Search & Network Advertising if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a background in background in business, economics, marketing, analytics, statistics, or related field.
  • A deep, demonstrated understanding of digital marketing and the metrics and economics surrounding it, with an emphasis on search advertising, ad networks or programmatic marketplaces. A background in actively managing and purchasing digital marketing or search ad campaigns a significant plus.
  • 4+ years of progressively accountable product management experience, in line with the description of the role above and with demonstrated results of success.
  • Experience in serving and addressing the needs of our core market of law firms (or other similar professional services firms) with digital marketing products and services is a significant plus.
  • A strong knowledge of digital advertising and analytics platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc., and the metrics and measures they report.
  • Proven track record of using data to drive digital marketing decisions for customers and products you have managed
  • Excellent oral, written, and visual (PowerPoint slides) communication skills, especially in distilling information into digestible bites, telling stories with data, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
