Job Description

Your Career

As a product management leader at Palo Alto Networks for our Industry-leading SASE solutions, you will be responsible for developing, evolving and driving our product strategy to grow revenues and increase market share in the Managed Service Provider channel. You will be responsible for helping to drive and implement the MSP Strategy for SD-WAN and SASE which allows us to deliver unprecedented value for Customers and Tier 1/2 MSP Partners as they migrate to a SASE architecture.

You will compliment the team’s creativity through deep interaction with the MSP partner community to understand requirements and needs that can be translated into reality. You will be responsible for all stages of the MSP service life cycle (conception, definition, product, pricing, release and offer activities). Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Management, Product Marketing and Global SP Sales teams to create product related sales and marketing materials and evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally.

Your Impact

  • Grow the SASE and SD-WAN Managed Services business through deep collaboration internally and externally

  • Assist with building and prioritization of product roadmaps of new features and functionality based on Service Provider requirements

  • Provide required enablement materials, direction and support to ensure successful GTM success of our MSP partners

  • Act as an evangelist of our product offers internally and externally

  • Support cross-functional go-to-market launch plans to effectively launch offers thru MSP partners

  • Create user stories and customer success stories for current and future products and customer launches

  • Develop and drive new product offers, packaging and commercial constructs 

  • Communicate and deliver product updates to internal stakeholders and customers

  • Mentor Product Managers and craft/scale new processes for the team

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Technical degree in computer science or related field

  • 5+ years in highly technical Product Management, or related roles

  • 5+ years of domain experience in Networking, SD-WAN, Security or related fields

  • Strong domain expertise in Service Providers networking and SDN Technologies

  • Experience with high performance cloud delivered management and SaaS platforms

  • Experience with integrations of technology into Managed Service Provider environments

  • Strong go to market and business analysis skills

  • Deep knowledge of the Service Provider Managed Services market, segmentation, offers, packaging and strategies

  • Familiarity with usage/utility-based provisioning and pricing models

  • Understand and can position differences between CAPEX and OPEX service models

  • Client-facing abilities, including excellent presentation skills

  • Self-starter, highly motivated with insatiable curiosity to learn about and influence the business

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and collaboration skills

  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, influencing, writing, and editing skills

  • Works well within a matrixed environment, with ability to manage simultaneous projects, and tight deadlines

If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $146,200yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
