Senior Product Manager, Partnerships
This person shall manage partnership support on key relationships with our wireless MNO provider(s). This includes aspects of portfolio lifecycle including launch of key products and services, customer experience, financial and operating metrics, escalation process, break fix management, enhancement priorities and product roadmaps. This person will be an integral part of the Strategic Partnerships team, aligning with a cross matrix organization focused on wireless offerings.
What You'll Do

  • Serves as a key member of the partnerships team for wireless product portfolios.
  • Leads cross-functional teams and drives to satisfy customer needs and optimize customer experience through key strategic partners, processes, and technology.
  • Accountable to ensure partner product roadmaps are disseminated through the Cox Mobile teams to manage customer, Cox process, and contractual impacts
  • Directs matrixed teams to translate vision and strategy into clear and defined business requirements.
  • Owns MNO invoice and forecasting processes.
  • Manages budgetary decisions regarding SOWs for new work needed.
  • Operates with oversight to translate high level goals into strategies and tactics into operational decisions.
  • Owns the contractual process for SOWs and Amendments to MNO agreements relating to wireless development, operations, and support.
  • Participate and provide guidance in contractual discussions with internal and external teams.
  • Communicates with executives and stakeholders to maintain alignment and awareness of current partnership state and vision.
  • Owns and ensures key product offerings, changes, and issues with MNO partners are disseminated across all department leaders and executive teams that impact industry and/or corporate results.
  • Monitors developments within the industry, vendor community and technology trends; considering product roadmaps that have meaningful impacts for Cox and its customers.
  • Reviews data, insights and interpretation of partner performance metrics and SLA's. Reviews and provides improvement recommendations as required
  • Typically operates as an individual contributor with influence company-wide on decisions made and support provided
  • Will interact and influence leaders internally and externally at senior levels of their respective organizations.

Who You Are
Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
  • Analytical thinker and problem-solver
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Builds trusted partnerships with internal partners
  • Strong ability to directly or indirectly influence others at executive levels.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve issues with minimal direction.


Preferred

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (e.g. Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Cox teams, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience in telecommunications or high-tech environment.
  • Experience and knowledge with key partners such as wireless network operators and cable companies.
  • Experience in alliance or partnership management and/or account executive roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization and functional areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
