About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Technology Product Manager to implement mission-critical capabilities as we shape the foundation of internal and external customer experiences and personalization. The ideal candidate is an intrapreneurial leader with passion to innovate, who likes working backward from the customer and tackling complex, ambiguous problems. This is a role with substantial scope, complexity, executive visibility, and a large opportunity for impact.

As the successful candidate, you will drive strategy, execution and management of categories within our go-to-market stack to help Thomson Reuters rapidly scale our digital customer experiences - being equally comfortable leading projects and both internal and external partnerships. You will ensure that our technology systems work together seamlessly, leveraging data to realize customer experiences and efficient operations; that our money is spent wisely and that we operate in a coordinated way in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a strategic portfolio of platforms and pipelines enabling go-to-market experiences and processes in an enterprise environment
  • Realize complex marketing technology initiatives end-to-end, with a cross-organization virtual team; being highly collaborative and confident in driving from conception to global execution to support global strategy
  • Use data, customer input, and other techniques to define business scenarios, customer journeys and expected outcomes - mapped to requisite capabilities from technology vendor/solutions.
  • Build capability roadmaps and constantly explore what is possible with evolving digital tools as a thought leader within the marketing and digital community.
  • Develop standard ways of operating and building within the tech platform that are robust, secure, efficient, sustainable, and scalable
  • Select and manage data service providers and partners to ensure effective execution at enterprise and segment levels.
  • Partner with various stakeholders to define, test, validate, and implement new features and ideas
  • Serve as an internal champion for data and technology initiatives. Help marketers and digital product managers adopt best practices and available customer data.
  • Ensure the launch of new capabilities and evolutions of the platform go smoothly (testing, post-launch monitoring & burn-in process and overall set up for long term success)
  • Establish and maintain successful relationships with a complex set of cross-functional stakeholders across marketing segments peers and leadership.



Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing or management of marketing technology
  • Previous experience managing marketing technology platforms with a track record of delivering results and driving change across a significant user base. Preferred categories include: marketing resource management (MRM), digital asset management (DAM), digital experience platforms (DXPs) / content management systems (CMS), and marketing analytics
  • Demonstrated experience building platform ecosystem capability strategy to drive business outcomes
  • Capable of sourcing data - both qualitative and quantitative - to deliver actionable business recommendations
  • Ability to run and support a strong prioritization process that creates clarity for stakeholders on what will happen, and what will not happen
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate and evangelize a strategy at every level of the organization
