We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a background in working with Corporate Finance, Sales Finance teams and Cost Center owners to help us use Adaptive Insights and other FP&A technologies to its fullest. Working within our IT Business Applications team, you will work closely with our internal customers and have the opportunity to build models to automate reporting, analyze trends, extract insights and validate findings for our planning exercises. As part of the Finance Internal Products team, you will administer and create the roadmap of our Adaptive financial planning system, partnering closely with our Corporate Finance team to deliver a great experience for users who use the tool. Successful candidates for this role will need strong finance & technical skills, interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong Excel, oral and written communication, and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead existing Adaptive models and build new modules/models as needed
  • Prepare artifacts such as product requirement documents, tech specs, data flow diagrams and business architecture diagrams
  • Understand our internal customer personas, developing what/why when crafting a multi-quarter roadmap
  • Assist in the development of new modules, functionality, and backlog requests in Adaptive to support Finance planning and IT Business Application needs
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective & efficient application configuration
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and input templates
  • Monitor deployment of additional cloud-based functionality/upgrades release by Workday/Adaptive, complete and coordinate testing and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Utilize financial modeling skills to analyze trends, extract insights and validate findings for the purposes of facilitating the Reddit’s annual budgeting exercise and recurring forecast cycles in Adaptive, as well as help our Cost Center owners utilize Adaptive for annual planning purposes
  • Work with large sets of data effectively
  • Maintain actuals and forecast data accuracy, working to troubleshoot data issues (and fix them) as needed. 
  • Manage the training of new and existing users
  • Perform Administrator functions such as maintaining the models, dimensions, and management of user access
  • Troubleshoot intermittent data and/or break/fix issues
  • Work with third party contractors to help meet our internal goals

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6+ years of relevant consulting or relevant functional finance industry experience; at least 4+ years of Adaptive experience
  • Knowledge or experience of financial processes, especially Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting, Accounting, Financial and Management Reporting, and Workforce Planning
  • Experience with P&L analysis, spreadsheet modeling
  • Experience helping Corporate Finance team scale through the use of technology
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights, and integrating the tool to other SaaS based platforms (NetSuite OneWorld, Coupa, Workday) and Data Visualization tools (e.g. Mode Dashboard, Tableau)
  • Excellent data analysis skills, Excel and Google Suite experience
  • Experience leading production support issues based on severity; work with other teams to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
  • Team player that embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • An analytical, creative thinker who can focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture
  • Workday Adaptive Insights certification preferred
  • Understanding and knowledge of financial applications, architectures, general knowledge of trends with leading and emerging financial technology vendors and solutions
  • Understanding of SOX processes in general
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
