About The Team

This role is as a Product Manager team member within the Finicity “Manage” Solutions Team (Product Link). This team has a mission to understand the financial industry, the data structures that make it work, and then help customers gain access to their data. We create the most efficient ways for customers to retrieve, store, and share that data via their consent to put their financial data to work to benefit their lives.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with the “Manage” solutions team, companies in the industry, prospective clients, and current clients to fully understand the data set (or sets) for which you will be on point product manager.
• Define the strategy and roadmap for a particular set of financial data or data sets.
• This could be improving current data or creating entirely new data sets.
• Create specifications, epics, and stories to accomplish the strategy and roadmap for improving and creating the data structures.
• Communicate the product vision within the company, including executive leadership
• Conduct in-depth competitive analysis and become an expert on competing products and fintech organizations
• Meet with clients to understand their application needs and their consumer data needs
• Work with broader “Manage” solutions team to create marketing materials, documentation, and sales training to increase internal and external knowledge of your assigned data set (or sets) to increase industry adoption

What you'll need to be successful

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a product manager with demonstrated success defining and launching API delivered data products, preferably in the fintech space.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to large and small groups
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas of finance and/or technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, including engineering teams, marketing, finance, etc
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum product framework for product delivery
• Strong technical product skills in understanding database structure and architecture
• A unyielding pursuit of perfection as you work to understand, store, and delivery data in it’s most accurate form possible.
• Preference will be given to local candidates Industry experience in a financial data sector of interest to Finicity such as Investments, Crypto, Lending, Banking

Consent - Data is only retrieved, stored, and delivered at the specific consent of the consumer and they have full rights to revoke such consent at any time they choose.
