Joining Collibra’s Product Team:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to spearhead our Edge product capabilities.  We are looking for an individual with experience and passion for managing products, defining product features, and owning the vision and execution of the roadmap.  During that work you will collaborate with primary stakeholders including: 

  • Customer business and technical teams
  • Collibra sales and pre-sales teams, customer success, coaching and marketing, professional services
  • Local stakeholder engineering teams that develop capabilities on top of the product
  • Collibra Security and Program management teams

You will make sure that the right features are delivered at the right time, and everyone is enabled once they are productized. 

Product Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Gathering requirements from all of the product stakeholders
    • Collibra customers, their respective IT departments and business 
    • Engineering that builds on top of Edge
    • Collibra security and architecture
  • Develop product vision, strategy, roadmap and plan for execution, 
  • Aligning stakeholders around the short and long term roadmap and vision and enable them for the use of the product
  • Prioritizing product features and capabilities while driving the execution through close cooperation with the engineering team
  • Enable internal stakeholders for great use of the product to deploy Edge capabilities

You Have:

  • Experience with hybrid solutions, Kubernetes and microservices
  • At least 2 years of experience in Product Management, preferably at an enterprise software company with a focus on data or data management
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of IT security practices and policies

You Are:

  • Familiar with applying Agile development processes 
  • Able to understand fundamental networking principles
  • Experienced and confident in presenting to large and small groups of technical and non-technical people
  • Excited about monitoring the latest market trends in the technology of Hybrid Cloud, security, and distributed and scalable systems. 

Reporting to Collibra’s SVP of Product, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month you will meet and begin building relationships with all internal stakeholders.  You will dive into the product and demos to begin building a deep understanding of the Edge product and features.  
  • Within your first 3 months you will work with the Edge team to fully know the product and be an expert user. You will build an understanding of business use-cases we actually solved in order to know how the product is applied in the field.  You will begin working loosely with other PMs and the Pre-sales team to shadow and begin getting comfortable on customer calls.  
  • Within the first 6 months, you will be able to extend product features to support more enterprise environments.  You will be confident in satisfying customer’s security requirements.  You will be able to extend product APIs to enable faster time to market of extensions built by peer teams.
