Senior Product Manager - Digital Innovation

Summary:
As a Sr. Product Manager, you'll build the tools and experiences that empower our advisors and help our clients achieve those dreams! You'll work with a hardworking team of engineers, designers, data scientists and financial specialists to define product vision, strategy and deliver experiences to enable clients to achieve financial security.
As a member of the Digital Innovation team, you'll explore problem and opportunity spaces to experiment various hypotheses around new technologies, new products/services, and new ways of working.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Experimentation Mentality: Partner with Stakeholders, SMEs, and/or end-users to analyze and explore industry and tech trends and apply them to problem or opportunity spaces. Define testable hypotheses and design scaled experiments to validate hypotheses to advise strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Set Product Vision: Responsible for product vision and appropriate positioning with critical team members across the organization.
- Define new Product Business Case: Define all the elements of a Business Case / Business Model for a new product or service, including competitive analysis, customer definition, product value & positioning statements, MVP feature lists, cost vs revenue structures, and total paths-to-market plan.
- Develop Roadmap: Accountable for development, acceptance and communication of roadmap. Define and supervise critical metrics for measure of success
- Capture Requirements: Able to participate in cross functional work to solicit key requirements relative to the accountable product
- Define the product: Responsible for multiple low to high complexity products and product features from start to finish
- Stakeholdering: Awareness and ability to articulate the product story to a broader audience outside the internal team - additional experience and maturity in the domain
- Design Partnership: Partner with design to ensure cohesive future state user visions and experiences are aligned with a quarterly vision with an understanding of the total design process.
- Author User Stories: Translate requirements to technical details to build and validate use cases and user stories around a product and communicate them effectively
- Data & Customer Research: Advise product decisions with both qualitative and quantitative data on behavior and experimentation
- Feature Prioritization: Develop and maintain multiple prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation according to business value or return on investment
- Facilitate ceremonies: Facilitate the daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings and Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Education. Bachelor's degree
- 4-5 Years of prior experience with at least 4 working in a Product Management Role, with agile team experience
- Experience in developing new Products: Proven ability to define new Product features, value propositions, market analysis, customer profiles, and comprehensive paths-to-market.
- Knowledge Preferred: formal business analyst, engineering or testing experience. Knowledge of the financial services industry, familiar with BI tools. Certification or experience with Product Owner or Scrum Master role. Exposure to corporate innovation and proof-of-concept and/or Pilot-based product launches or testing.
- Proven cross functional work in previous experience along with strong communication skills, time management, project management skills, business acuity and high self-awareness/EQ. Previous research experience, influence skills, initial leadership exposure, ability to translate product requirements into technical requirements, and work in ambiguity and solutioning.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
