Coursera was launched in 2012 by two Stanford Computer Science professors, Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller, with a mission to provide universal access to world-class learning. It is now one of the largest online learning platforms in the world, with 82 million registered learners as of March 31, 2021. Coursera partners with over 200 leading university and industry partners to offer a broad catalog of content and credentials, including Guided Projects, courses, Specializations, certificates, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees. More than 6,000 institutions have used Coursera to upskill and reskill their employees, citizens, and students, including in high-demand fields such as data science, technology, and business. Coursera became a B Corp in February 2021.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our amazing Core Platform Product teams and manage Coursera Labs, Coursera’s latest innovation for hands-on learning. Coursera Labs is a key part of Coursera’s product strategy: it allows learners to complete Guided Projects and Lab Assignments from the browser and empowers experts and institutions to teach, assess, and train job-relevant skills at scale. Initially launched in 2020, Coursera Labs has now served millions of learners, voted as the #1 platform innovation by educators and became one of Coursera’s key strategic bets. As the product owner of Coursera Labs learner experience, you will build the best-in-class “learn-by-doing” experiences that shape the future of online education and make a direct impact on millions of learners' lives.

An Insider's view of Coursera

What projects are you most excited about?

Even with strong demand signals and robust data, for higher education institutions, deciding to launch online programs is a departure from tradition and full of unknowns. I like the challenge of talking them through that transformation.
