About The Role
The Senior Product Manager for Content Management is responsible for overseeing the management of Funimation & Crunchyroll’s content catalog, catalog availability in the international markets, content localization and publishing tools. Content is at the heart of what we build, localized in 10 different languages and available in 200 countries . Our Content Management System enables our content publishers to create and schedule content, manage international availability, align and present metadata across mobile, desktop, and connected TV experiences.
As the product manager, you will own the content management platform and will be responsible for defining the product vision, planning the product roadmap, and working with the team to execute from ideation to scale.
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in product management
- Ability to write detailed user stories and work product design team to ensure user workflows and requirements are well mapped out
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable stories using an Agile product development process
- Ability to articulate and present detailed product deliverables on key initiatives to executives and stakeholders
- Ability to work with engineering teams to shepherd features from concept to launch, made tradeoffs to remove roadblocks, and evaluated innovative ideas
- Experience working with API / service endpoints and their interactions with apps
- A team player focussed on collaboration and partnership
Bonus Qualifications
- Passionate about Anime or streaming media at large
- Working knowledge of media content delivery process (playable components, metadata, images,subtitles)
