Senior Product Manager – Consumer Profile
Job Summary:If you're passionate about creating data products that fuel Marketing & Advertising, come join us! We are looking for a Senior Product Manager within our Profile space, who can break down and achieve marketing needs using data, tools, and cross-platform connections. You will work as part of an Agile team for development, technical expertise, and delivery of features and capabilities for the ecosystem. You will work remotely until in person work resumes and be based in the Orlando, Florida area. You will report to the Manager of Product Management who oversees the Marketing Profile space. You will be part of the Disney Parks, Experience, and Products (DPEP) Technology & Digital organization, under the Data Science and Engineering department.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on the delivery of data products within the consumer profile space that will be used for insights, activation, and measurement/analytics
- Perform analysis, using the Snowflake interface, across a large data environment to assess data accuracy, become an expert in several data subject areas, troubleshoot issues, and answer partner questions
- Maintain strategic partnerships across your user base and partners to promote the exchange of ideas and ensure a smooth flow of communication
- Work with partners to align requirements, product roadmaps, and execution plans
- Influence priorities and technical architecture when leading product discovery and execution for complex data projects, including discussing technical concepts, managing trade-offs, and evaluating new ideas
- Cater messages to multiple audiences from executives to engineers, while reducing complex ideas down to a simple narrative
- Establish product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionality
- Manage external dependencies that could affect the team's completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Participate in scrum ceremonies (Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Stand-Up, and Retrospective) and longer-term planning exercises (Road Mapping, Release Planning)
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in the data and consumer profile space (data collection, ingest, identity management, curation, distribution)
- 2+ years of product management experience
- Experience sourcing vendors, drafting RFPs, and working with teams to conduct due diligence
- Experience explaining complex concepts in a simplified way with all levels
- Have a passion for data and new ideas
- Knowledge of or experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience delivering technology products with an ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
- Excellent critical thinking with creative solutions to overcome challenges and meet requirements
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Experience with programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, PIG, or HIVE
- Experience with cloud services and environments like Snowflake and AWS (EC2, EMR, RDS, or Redshift)
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, MIS, Business or a related field
