What You’re Applying For:
Edmunds.com is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our website product team focused on the vehicle pricing and research experience. You'll find yourself at the heart of our R&D process to improve the car-buying process for millions of car shoppers every month. The ideal candidate is able to combine competitive insights, UX knowledge and behavioral analytics to propose new ideas for engaging our visitors and converting them into site users and promoters. As part of an Agile team, you will develop, test, and analyze your ideas to determine if they improve both the car-buying experience and our bottom line.
What You’ll Do:
Take a lead role with the development team to define, build and deploy new car shopping content and conversion funnels on the Edmunds website. This includes planning sprints, writing individual stories, and accepting completed features (QA).
Interview customers and create competitive analysis in order to develop hypothesis that you can test using well-defined A/B and multivariate tests
Leverage analytics tools to answer business questions and report on your tests
Monitor product performance, fix issues and create product documentation
Work closely with our UXD team to ensure site design excellence
What You Need:
- 4+ years of product management experience
- Experience with a conversion focused web business
- Strong quantitative skills and clear analytical thinking. A desire to understand human behavior and how things work.
- Ability to analyze structured or unstructured data within tools like Excel
- Experience with analytics platforms like Amplitude or Tableau (SQL a plus)
- Organizational skills that can be used to manage product feature backlog and ability to prioritize incoming requests to meet product goals; includes a familiarity with JIRA, and Agile workflow
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting your ideas, and the results of your tests
