About the role

Spin Product Managers lead the definition, roadmap and requirements for our products. We are looking for a creative Senior Product Manager to help Spin meet the regulatory and permit requirements of our city partners and to help us stay competitive with our peer companies in applying for tenders and RFPs.

Responsibilities

Observe rider behavior with Spin products to understand how they interact with regulatory requirements and other features that are required by cities and campuses.
  • Goal setting: Set objectives and key results for Spin products to continuously grow our business and develop industry-leading enhancements.
  • Data proficiency: Use data tools such as Amplitude and Looker to measure the success of city and regulatory features to analyze where to best focus our future efforts to improve conversion and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Experiment: Develop hypotheses and key metrics to conduct A/B testing in Apptimize
  • Core Product Management: Write user stories that capture key requirements and acceptance criteria for development of product features, enhancements and applications.
  • Communications: Own and socialize roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of stakeholders including but not limited to government partnerships, customer care, growth and marketing, safety, equity, and sustainability teams.
  • Collaborate: Work with the rest of the product team, in particular the rider experience product manager and designers to craft products that provide the highest value to our city and campus partners. Create a strong bond with key engineering teams that deliver on city priorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a product manager, leading product experience which includes designing user facing features. Transactional experience and mobile application expertise is preferred.
  • Comfortable defining, tracking, storing, and analyzing metrics that showcase the success of our products, in collaboration with data analysts.
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to identify the best possible outcome for the customer (i.e. cities and partners) without degrading the end user experience.
  • Ability to handle feature ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way.
  • Strong communication and intuition for strategy at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, and to external stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand technical matters outside of personal areas of expertise, and synthesize them for broad discussions.
  • Ability to listen, and build consensus across a large matrixed organization to handle user problems, achieve objectives and deliver results.
  • Strong decision-making, problem solving and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
