Job Description
The Opportunity
We, at Flywire, are seeking a Sr. Product Manager - B2C to be the Payer’s advocate across our EDU vertical and beyond. Being a B2B2C company, the role demands an understanding of both client and end user’s needs, an innovative problem solving approach, and a bias towards exceptional user experience. The candidate will understand the different personas making up our user base, across the globe, and will invent and build products that solve pains for students/payers/parents. Collaboration, relationship-building, and communication are key aspects to being successful in this role.
Product Managers at Flywire like to win. You’ll be part of the team who is focused on identifying what a winning product looks like and how it will succeed in the market. In order to accomplish this, you will own different B2C products we are building.. What does this look like? You must …
- Translate current and prospective payer pain points into solutions that answer these pains.
- Understand in depth the different nuances of payers cross our solutions, globally.
- Collaborate with different departments and other product managers to come up with innovative solutions and enhancements to current product offerings
- Help create and lead the Payer value strategy across the company, with the goal of extreme payer satisfaction
- Be ready to both manage people and understand the overall market, but also dive down to detailed requirements, focus groups and user research and execute with Engineering.
Qualifications
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of product management experience in a role that directly touches end users
- Passion for exceptional user experience is a must
- Experience in higher education or related field with product / project management experience is a big plus
- Ability to compile and communicate key insights to offer recommendations and solutions
- A drive to think strategically, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute methodically with a data-driven approach to decision making
- A team player
- Obsessed with solving end user problems
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Humble - You do what’s best for the company, no politics, no ego
