This Senior Product Manager will be responsible for building a client-facing platform that will enable Takeoff’s clients to optimize their assortment, replenishment, and inventory (AIR) practices & decision making for their Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFC) using our AI/ML-based solutions. AIR is a major focus area for Takeoff 2022, so this leader will be working directly with our strategic clients to build tools and processes that will drive the productivity of their MFCs. Internally, this leader will grow into the resident expert & thought leader for this high impact and high visibility area. Day to day, this leader will leverage an agile team of engineers, while working closely with other product leaders and data scientists, to drive execution, delivery, & adoption of Takeoff’s AI/ML-based solutions that optimize AIR processes. 


This leader will own the end-to-end product lifecycle from defining product vision to specific feature definition, prioritization, positioning, operationalizing, and adoption. This leader is a critical problem solver who can translate complex strategic and operational issues into executable product roadmap and features that have measurable impact. This leader is eager to partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of these new features, gather qualitative and quantitative feedback to analyze their success, and incorporate this analysis into future work. 

 

While we are remote at the moment, this role is preferred to be in the East Coast time zone but we will consider other locations for the right candidate. This role will require occasional travel to our client locations within the US and possibly, internationally. 


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management in an agile setting, building and operationalizing AI/ML-based products 
  • Bachelor's Degree with a STEM major or related work experience
  • Individual contributor who needs to be an effective in influencing and stakeholder management
  • Critical problem-solving skills to structure problems and work across internal and client teams to arrive at the best outcome
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical products and concepts for different target groups
  • Comfort working with data and ability to extract and explain business insights from analysis
  • Effective organization and time-management skills, excellent attention to detail, and self-motivation in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Remote Opportunity (East Coast Candidates Preferred)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B2B product management experience 
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain & Warehouse Management practices 
  • Experience using Scrum & Evidenced Based Management techniques for valuation and validation
  • Familiarity with ML techniques and advanced statistical concepts
