About the Role:
The Senior Manager of Software Engineering provides overall direction for the continual development, delivery, and maintenance of Epicor's enterprise applications our customers rely on to run their business. The person in this position will be working closely with highly skilled members of our product development team, product management team and cloud operations team to ensure we are delivering best in class industry cloud solutions and great user experience.
What You'll Do:

  • Ensure clarity around priorities and goals including planning, requirements grooming, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Work with Product Owners and the PD team to plan and develop new features using scrum agile practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, direction, and guidance on developing innovative solutions.
  • Define and refine best practices.
  • Recommend the development of software and software tools used for design, infrastructure, and platforms.
  • Administer departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.


What You Need to Succeed:

  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend the details of a technical product requirements, define a strategy for successful product development and deployment.
  • Leadership, mentorship, and people management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills and thorough understanding of product development.


Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • 10+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 5+ years managing and developing employees.
  • 4+ years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in a C#/.Net Core/Azure environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset
