Responsible for Strategy and Management of assigned Debit Card solutions to drive client loyalty and engagement for card-based products. Charged to meet needs of clients and drive realization of Truist's purpose, mission, values and goals. Includes realization of performance metrics, and superior client outcomes through world class loyalty solutions and services, partnering with internal and external organizations to accelerate the relevancy and effectiveness of our value proposition for clients.

1. Develop and execute product strategy: develop and cultivate strategy designed to deliver market-differentiated solutions for assigned Core Consumer Debit Product Line. Conceptualize new features and benefits; translate into specifications and functional requirements; implement solutions to maximize profitability.
2. Develop and commercialize new solutions: drive leadership and direction for assigned Debit Card segments/solutions including prioritization, business cases, business & functional requirements, project management, operational, channel readiness, and product content.
3. Manage profitable client focused solutions throughout life cycle: continually evaluate and monitor programs focusing on performance and profitability of loyalty solutions. Establish program success measures and post-launch performance to adapt as necessary.
4. Build and cultivate relationships within Broader team: engage, partner, and collaborate across a highly matrixed set of internal cross functional partners, stakeholders, card based business partners that are often within a different reporting line of business, as well as applicable third party partners. Consult with Senior Leadership and Executive Management in design, pricing and implementation of solutions.
5. Successfully navigate evolving industry landscape: monitor competitors (bank and non-bank) to report on developing trends and potential impact. Use client, analytic, and industry sources to identify portfolio gaps and generate incremental revenue opportunities. Support participation/representation in select industry groups as applicable.
6. Ensure effective regulatory, legal, compliance, change, and quality management: meet needs of our customers while adhering to all product policies and regulations ensuring all legal, compliance, and audit standards are fully met.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education or related training
2. 7+ years of product management, finance, marketing, and strategy experience within financial service, or credit card organization
3. Advanced project management, priority setting, execution, communication, presentation, business acumen
4. Experience with card processing, card networks, and/or electronic payment systems as well as related infrastructure and emerging technology
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree or equivalent education and related training
2. 10+ years of product management, finance, marketing, and strategy experience within financial service, or credit card organization
3. 5+ years proven experience managing highly complex card product portfolios (Credit Card, Debit and/or Prepaid Card)
4. Completion of an advanced banking school program
