Asthe Senior Product Analyst, you will assist in driving the business product vision and feature definitions to ensure the objectives of the developed solution are achieved. You will participate in user requirement gathering sessions, take feedback to the product team to analyze and assess feasibility, and work closely with user experience (UX) designers to ensure features are communicated and designed to work optimally. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Define product roadmaps for XPO Connect software by working closely with stakeholders and the engineering team to deliver new products and feature enhancements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute ideas through all aspects of the product development life cycle including design, development, and implementation
  • Develop feedback loops between the products and users, and continually develop the understanding of the problem through user feedback, metrics and communicating insights to the product and engineering teams
  • Identify, review, and analyze business and product requirements
  • Assist in designing and developing products that address appropriate business needs
  • Assist in training/developing business unit members on how XPO staff performs its duties in relation to customer and carrier operations
  • Perform delivery with established test criteria and assist in executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that development/testing meets all product requirements
  • Participate in deploying/implementing application solutions
  • Support ongoing operations by responding to queries and problems, and partner with business change management to ensure system adoption
  • Gather and analyze data to ensure requirements address and resolve business problems by troubleshooting software (Java, Angular) to understand why some features may or may not be working


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, product, operations or related
  • 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics


It'd be great if you also have:

  • Experience with software development processes, including discovery, design, engineering, UAT and implementation
  • Transportation and logistics industry experience
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations
  • Demonstrated understanding of UX
  • Strong project management skills
  • An analytic approach to problem solving
  • The professionalism to work in ambiguous situations and create clarity amid chaos
