What You’ll Do

We have been on an agile journey for many years, and now - across the enterprise - we are advancing a common mission to empower product-oriented, autonomous, fully-skilled DevOps teams to deliver more customer value and achieve team objectives faster than ever before. We are seeking experienced agile product coaches to facilitate line of business leaders through structured design exercises that enable them to determine target state product structure, product team design, product ownership roles, and agile product delivery practices.
As a Senior Agile Product Coach, you will be responsible for facilitating design workshops and assessments and coaching product areas as they evolve behaviors and practices of an agile product-centric operating model. As a trusted partner to product area leaders, you will provide thought leadership, empirical advice, and behavioral coaching as they learn how to lead their organizations through transformation from a project-oriented and technology-oriented to a product-oriented structure and way of working. Through the core phases of design, planning, deployment, and continuous coaching, you set product areas up to achieve transformation objectives, and in turn, business objectives and improvements in employee engagement. In this role, you will work with business and technology leaders, focused mostly on configuring the Agile Way of Working for the line of business and problem solving to improve systemic performance across multiple product teams.
How You’ll Do It
- Facilitates organizational structure design workshops and assessments, leveraging standard design principles, playbooks, and organizational model guidelines to evolve product definition in line with customer journeys and organizational objectives
- Educates line of business leaders on lean-agile principles and inspires them to enable the practices promoted in the Discover “Agile Way of Working” product-centric operating model
- Coordinates product area assessments and provides coaching to product leaders, product owners, and teams to continuously improve organizational health, value stream flow, work flow, and product performance to accelerate delivery of customer value and business value
- Contributes to developing and improving systems that enable Agile Way of Working capabilities for the organization. Actively shares and creates a culture of learning within the DMS CoE community to improve coaching standards and methods.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Continuous Improvement, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in Lean, Scrum, Scaled Agile or related experience
- In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Lean/Agile, or related field
Bonus Points If You Have
- Lean, Agile, scaled agile (SAFe, LeSS, DAD, SoS, Nexus), Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO), or related certifications
- Management Consulting, Product Management, IT Consulting roles or related experience
- Experience coaching DevOps practices and product-centric agile delivery operating models
- Financial services industry or other digital services industry knowledge/experience
