The Challenge
With Qualtrics continuing its incredible growth into 2022 and beyond, the Global GTM Enablement team is seeking a senior instructional designer to support our global field learner population. This is a cross-functional, highly strategic role with broad influence and visibility among various leaders – ideal for someone with deep knowledge of customer-facing teams as a learner audience, innovative training design and methods and field-forward enablement programs. This role is responsible for driving the enablement strategy & execution for much of our global training curriculum for field sellers, customer success organization, and partner ecosystem.
The Expectation for Success
For those passionate about helping teams learn in a dynamic and fun way, this role is perfect. This is a highly creative role, moving from scoping training and curricula from scratch to planning, building and delivering it, as well as measuring its impact on the business. Delivering training to CS reps to assessing knowledge gaps and building learning programs to managing a team of enablers that ensure everyone in the CS organization is successful. Taking the role to the next level includes bringing a high degree of rigor and organization to projects, refining the global enablement strategy for multiple learner audiences, and collaborating cross-functionally at a deeply mature and strategic level.
Key Activities
Oversee full cycle of various training curricula and development (implementation to post-implementation) including scoping, planning, publishing, updating, and measuring training effectiveness
- Proactively collaborate with the GTM enablement team on key global and role-based training initiatives
- Develop scalable training content to improve core competencies of various learner audiences (e.g. sales, CS, partners)
- Partner with leadership to support cross-functional training for regional teams offering suggestions and helping to close any training gaps (EMEA, APAC, LAC, etc.)
- Provide learning design guidance to the enablement team and other internal subject matter experts (SMEs) who are enlisted to build various training deliverables
- Partner with global GTM enablement leadership to define standards for deliverables (formatting, templates, needs analysis, etc.)
- Apply expert knowledge to ensure educational programs, content and training deliverables adhere to innovative adult learning and instructional design principles (i.e., multimodal, segmentation, rapid development, and interactivity)
- Assist with content maintenance and CMS/LMS related tasks
Qualifications
- 7+ years of instructional design/enablement experience, preferably in SaaS.
- Stellar track record building and maintaining strong cross-functional and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience developing blended solutions across multiple learning modalities including micro-learning, role-based learner journeys, and social learning.
- Exposure to working in or supporting sales and services delivery teams, or other customer-facing organizations.
- Demonstrable project/program management and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in the unknown, an extremely agile and adaptable thinker, comfortable with juggling conflicting priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Passionate about creative adult learning strategies and driving performance improvements.
- Prior quota-carrying sales experience a plus
